Ashley Home Furniture Giving to Charity in 2007

Ashley Home Furniture store is encouraging charity amongst it's customers in Phoenix this year. The furniture chain is presenting customers who give money to the Phoenix Children's Hospital with a discount on the furniture they buy in the store.

Ashley Furniture is running this campaign through the Ashley Angel Foundation, which was created as a charitable organization aimed at improving the lives of those in need.

For the customers who purchase furniture at Ashley Home Furniture between now and the third of November, and make a contribution to the Children's Hospital, the company will discount up to twenty percent of the customer's purchase.

Ashley's, therefore, will be doubling the customer's contribution to the charity, by discounting 20% of the customer's total purchase price and donating through the Foundation.

Back in 2005, Ashley's was able to raise over half a million dollars for the neonatal intensive care unit.

This year, the money collected will be used to assist in constructing a new Ronald McDonald House, a haven for families with seriously ill children.

Ashley's is setting a wonderful example for the community to donate to charitable causes, especially near the holiday season of 2007.
